San Lorenzo Play N Trade is the Place Video Gamers Want to Be

Grand Opening Features In-Store Halo II Tournament and Cash Prizes

SAN LORENZO, Calif., April 18, 2007 – Play N Trade Franchise, Inc., one of the fastest-growing franchises worldwide, celebrated the Grand Opening of the San Lorenzo video game store, featuring a Halo II tournament and prizes, with more than 200 people enjoying the festivities throughout the day.

“When gamers come into Play N Trade, they know they have found the place they want to be,” said Michael Talavera, store owner. “In addition to a wide selection of new and used games, consoles and accessories, gamers can participate in our in-store tournaments, take advantage of our ‘try before you buy’ policy on all games in the store, and get their game consoles and discs repaired.”

The Halo II tournament attracted about 30 contestants. Daniel Valencia won first place and received a $100 cash prize. Kevin Pontai came in second and won a $50 cash prize, and third-place winner Daniel Eggleston won a $25 cash prize.

“The turnout for our Grand Opening was terrific and we look forward to being the destination of choice for video gamers by delivering great customer service and offering them the opportunity to compete in tournaments, meet other gamers and win cool prizes,” Talavera said.
