Play N Trade Franchise Inc. is pleased to announce that our unique retail gaming franchise system has gone international! Scott Stuart, one of our newest franchisees, has committed to open the first Canadian Play N Trade location in Ontario.

Scott Stuart has an impressive business background working as a tradesman at an international automotive parts supplier. Stuart wanted to fulfill his dreams of entrepreneurship and felt that owning his own gaming retail store would be a great marriage of business and pleasure. “As an enthusiastic gaming family we saw this adventure as a way to combine pleasure with business”, states Stuart.

Scott, an avid gamer himself, had been looking at several business opportunities when he stumbled upon Play N Trade. The opportunity to combine his passion for gaming with a “red hot” segment of consumer retailing was very appealing . “Our vision for our store is simple, to be the ultimate destination for gamers. We plan to “wow” our customers with outstanding service as well as offering a unique social/interactive experience. Out in-house tournaments and our “try before you buy” philosophy will be a major competitive differentiator. We want to be the gamers’ choice”.

“I am excited about the new addition to our growing Play N Trade family. Being originally from Canada, I am very proud of the new store that will soon be there. I know that Scott will do an excellent job operating his business with his love of the game and his business savvy”, states Roger Lloyd, Chief Operating Officer.

Scott is happily married to Claudia and they have two sons Scottie and Ryan. The family will be very much involved in the marketing and operations of the business. His favorite game is the Halo series, Socom series, and the Metal Gear series. You will catch Scott battling many of his customers in his store. “Beat the owner” will surely be a hit tournament event.
