Head Turning Car Stops Traffic

Play N Trade Inc. is excited to unveil a “double take” worthy, “tricked out” promotional vehicle which is showcasing the hottest game on the market, Scarface: ”The World is Yours”.

Roger Lloyd, Chief Operating Officer, is the lucky driver of this head-turning Dodge Charger SRT8. The car is fully loaded with 475 horsepower, 8 cylinder HEMI engine. Did we mention you can also play video games in the back while it is zooming down the highway? With a Play Station 2 hooked up and wireless remote controls, it is a gamer’s dream come true.

The car was originally wrapped with Play N Trade logos and some of the biggest gaming brands in the industry. Roger received fanfare when cruising down the highway, but more importantly evoked conversations about our company and how others can get involved.

Vivendi, a national gaming distributor, and Roger decided that the Dodge Charger could generate even more buzz with the hottest game digitally wrapped on the car. Scarface, “The World is Yours” was released with rave reviews by avid gamers all around the world. This intense first person shooter was inspired by the famous movie of the same name. The gaming experience has been brought to life by the latest cutting edge technology. This is further evidence that gaming and traditional filmmaking have begun to converge.

Now you can take a ride in the fierce Scarface car while shooting off enemies and being Tony Montana on the screen. The car will be making public appearances in many local venues for fans to participate in the action. Venues include the surf scene down in Huntington Beach, to the celebrity swarmed Hollywood, and the backyards of the happiest place on earth, Disneyland.

Play N Trade: Lamer's Paradise

We have a new Play N Trade here in Asheville, NC and it's the best video game store experience I've ever had bar none! They have a great selection of new and used games and the store owner is very knowledgeable about games and provides over-the-top excellence in customer service. Plus he's just plain fun to talk to. They also have lots of consoles so you can check out games before you buy, a very high-quality disc refurbisher, and a 30-day warranty on the disc quality.

One thing I find amazing is how perfect the used game surfaces are. I've literally had to clean gunk off of the ones from Gamestop but these look almost better than new. I've also had less-than-steller service from Gamestop. For example, one of the kiddies told my wife "all XBox games will run on the XBox 360". We ended up with a copy of Serious Sam II that is unplayable on our 360. This was just a few weeks ago so there's really no excuse for anyone working in a game store to be so ignorant.

I can't speak about the quality of the other franchised stores but if you have one in your area it's definitely worth stopping by to check out if your local store is as good as the one here.
